Shea Mirzai
Founder & CEO
Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm
Iranian-American, LGBTQ+ writer/producer, and Person Who Stutters, Shea Mirzai is a four-time honoree of Franklin Leonard's annual Black List and Co-Chair of the WGA’s Disabled Writers Committee. He is also an alumnus of RespectAbility's Lab for Entertainment Professionals with Disabilities as a Mid-Career/Mentor.
Mr. Mirzai has written features for Will Smith and Overbrook Entertainment, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Tooley Entertainment, AGC Studios, and Universal Studios. He is also Executive Producer of NatGeo's ORIGINS: THE JOURNEY OF HUMANKIND streaming on Disney+.
After selling action-drama feature spec RUTH and being hired to write the latest installment of the AMERICAN PIE franchise, Shea launched Space Coyote Productions, a full service production company of which he is the founder & CEO.
A graduate of the University of California, Irvine with a B.A. in Film & Media Studies and African-American Studies, Shea cut his teeth in glorious Hollywood, USA working for mini-major film studio Relativity Media as Head of the Story Department from 2008-2015.
Most recently, Shea was hired to staff on WORLD OF MARVELS on Max, a half-hour adventure series based on Middle Eastern High Fantasy, and was invited to join the Inevitable Foundation’s Spring 2024 Elevate Collective. Mirzai is repped by Zero Gravity Management and Brecheen Feldman Breimer Silver & Thompson.
